We’re from Canada and I brought my Brazilian roomie with me to visit my home country. I truly liked the hot spring and how it’s not a “too touristy” location. We were there in the holiday season but because it’s a hidden jem Ryokan, we were able to have both the “daiyokujo” and “Roten buro” all to ourselves (we did go late at night and early morning). They also have 24h ashiyu (foot hot tub) which was super awesome. I had beer while planning for the next day and just chilled there all by myself for an hr.

Great location and experience. Friendly owners who were very helpful and knowledgeable on area. We were lucky to be the only guests when we stayed so had full access to the onsen.We really enjoyed this as part of our trip and would recommend over a standard hotel.

Since i'm prefer green tea more than roasted green tea in the morning, they provide me with the green tea in the breakfast menu for my breakfast set, didn't expecting that. Overall, very satisfied with this ryokan, will back for sure.

It had so much soul and great atmosphere. Tatami everywhere was amazing! The staff was also super helpfull and nice they even did customised breakfast for us since we do not eat Dashi. We would be back thank you so much.

I had a fabulous stay, the owner was so nice and made the experience so wonderful. The rooms are clean and are cleaned daily. Toilets/showers are also kept clean. The showers had strong water pressure. WiFi was really fast. Location is good with a 10 min walk to the train station. I enjoyed the Japanese experience of sleeping in Ryokan. The owner gave many recommendations for Tokyo and also where is the best place for souvenirs rather than touristic locations which I wouldn't have discovered without the local knowledge so I am really thankful for that.
